More and more kittens are being abandoned - can you help?
Last year, the number of cats rescued by us rose 47% in a single year – with a record 307 cats saved.
Unplanned litters and unwanted pregnancies now account for 49% of all rescues as families cannot afford to care for these extra mouths.
So far this year 13 litters have been rescued. Including most recently two litters who were found dumped in a cardboard box down a country lane.
Each cat costs around £400 to care for.
